Preparation of Necessary Documents
Diploma and Transcript: English or Italian translations of your undergraduate diploma and transcript are required.
Language Proficiency Certificate: When applying to Italian or English programs, a language proficiency certificate may be requested (TOEFL, IELTS or CILS for Italian).
Motivation Letter and Reference Letters: Universities usually request an academic and personal motivation letter and reference letters in order for your application to be evaluated.
CV and Portfolio (For some programs): A portfolio may be required, especially in fields such as design and architecture.

State Universities

Private Universities
Private universities charge higher fees. Annual master's degree fees can range from 5,000 to 20,000 euros, depending on the program and the prestige of the university. For example, master's degree fees can be higher at universities such as Bocconi University, which is prominent in economics and business, or Politecnico di Milano, which is famous for engineering.

Is the Diploma I Received in Italy Valid Abroad?
Yes, when you graduate in Italy you will receive a “blue diploma” that is valid worldwide. This diploma is valid in Europe and many other countries, and countries like the Netherlands can also offer a one-year job search visa after graduation when you graduate from an Italian University that is among the top 200 in the world.
Is there a GPA requirement for a Master's degree?
Most master's programs in Italy do not require a minimum GPA. With the exception of some programs such as technical and health, a 2.5 GPA is considered sufficient for most English programs, which appeals to a wide range of students.
Is ALES or YDS Required for a Master's Degree in Italy?
